في 1920، أصدرت بلسم عبد الملك مجلة "المرأة المصرية". وكانت صورة الغلف الأول للملكة الفرعونية نفرت. وعللت بلسم عبد الملك ذلك بأن المجلة سوف تعبر عن المرأة المصرية الصحيحة. وظلت المجلة تصدر دوريا، حتى توقفت في ديسمبر عام 1938 لوفاة مؤسستها.
In 1920, Abdel Malek published her magazine “The Egyptian
Woman” with the Pharaonic Queen Nefert on the cover of the
first issue. Her reason was that the magazine would represent the
real Egyptian women. The magazine stayed in circulation until
the death of its founder in October 1938.
