لعبت دورا بارزا في حملت المطالبة بتعليم الفتيات التي أطلقتها رائدات الحركات النسوية في عهدها.
كتبت أشعارها باللغة العربية والتركية والفارسية.
كانت قصائد رثاء ابنتها التي توفيت فن سن الثانية عشرة من أفضل ما كتب في هذا اللون الشعري في العصر الحديث.
تم تكريمها بإطلق اسمها علي أحد الفجوات المكتشفة علي كوكب الزهرة.
Along with other women feminists of her era, Timour campaigned for girls’ education. She wrote poetry in Arabic, Turkish and Persian. Her poems mourning her daughter who died at the age of twelve, are considered among the best in that genre in modern times. Aisha is commemorated by having one of the newly discovered craters on the planet Venus named after her.
