سيدة غانا الأولي. تزوجت كوامي نكروما أول رئيس لجمهورية غانا بعد الاستقلال.
ولدت فتحية رزق في القاهرة، وتزوجت من نكروما في غانا في ليلة رأس السنة 1956 – 1957 ، كانت لاتزال في مقتبل العمر وأم لثلاثة أطفال صغار عندما تم الاطاحة بزوجها في انقلاب عسكري عام 1966 ، وعادت فتحية مع اولادها الي القاهرة، في حين غادر زوجها إلى المنفى .
The First Lady of the newly independent Ghana. Fathia, wife of Kwame Nkrumah, its’ first president, was born Fathia Rizk in Cairo.
The couple got married in Ghana on New Year’s Eve, 1957–1958. Nkrumah was a young wife and mother of three young children when her husband was overthrown in Ghanas military coup détat in 1966.
She moved back to Cairo, with her children while her husband went into exile.
