Manar Abouheif studied music and opera at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She sang operatic parts in international song festivals and other venues including opera performances at the Italian Cultural Center "Dante Alighieri" in Alexandria in 1967, for which she received critical acclaim. In 1963, she founded a band and a choir “Youth Melodies”.
She conducted orchestras and directed several dance performances and musicals.
