Bishop of Giza calls police to stop looting Copts’ properties

Abba Theodosius, bishop of Giza, has issued a statement today concerning the sectarian events in Dahshur, Giza. He called the Egyptian authorities to apply the law equally on all Egyptians and protect the properties of the Copts.
He added that many fanatics have looted all shops that belong to Christians like jewelry shop and soft drinks store, causing a loss of millions of pounds.
Christians of the village felt terrified and left their homes, he added.
