Remon Halim keddis, the brother of the kidnapped Christian girl of al-Balblina, Sohag told Copts United that someone called Abdel Sattar al-Dawy from al-Santa village, Baliana has contacted him on his phone and claimed he’s talking on behalf of his sister Mary’s kidnappers and asked him to pay 100.000 Egyptian Pounds to return his sister.
Remon said he heard his sister’s voice crying and calling for help, and this man is talking on behalf of Ashraf al-Deshnawy, the man who kidnapped his sister. al-Dawy threatened to cause a major sectarian strife by claiming the Copts have kidnapped a Muslim girl, and then they will force his sister to walk in the town saying she had converted to Islam!
He added that his house was shot today, and demanded the Supreme Council of
Armed Forces and the director of security in Suhag to do something to prevent these threats from taking place, and protect them as well as the Copts in the village.
It’s worth mentioning that Raymon was kidnapped before and was returned after paying 275.000 Egyptian Pounds.
