Social media users circulated a video from Egyptian pop superstar Amr Diab’s birthday party on Wednesday, during which he appeared with his wife Dina al-Sherbeny, dancing to his newly released song “Al-Farha Elleila” (The Joy Tonight).
This is the first time that Diab and Sherbeny have made a public appearance, after only rumors of their marriage several months ago. The two were seen traveling together on a private jet to Dubai and then appeared together during a summer vacation on the North Coast.
Amr Diab is widely popular among Egyptians and won the World Music Award for best-selling Middle Eastern Artist seven times between 1998 and 2014.
