شهندة مقلد من المدافعات عن حقوق الانسان وكانت تسمي ام الفلاحين لعملها الدؤوب في مناصرتهم والدفاع عن حقوقهم وتحقيق المساواة الاجتماعية لهم. أفنت شهندة مقلد عمرها في الدفاع عن حقوق الفقراء والمهمشين. وبعد هزيمة 67 ،انضمت مع مجموعة من المتطوعين الى حركة المقاومة الشعبية.
A fighter for human rights, Shahenda Maklad became known as
the “Mother of Farmers” for her commitment to the peasants and
her continuous support for social equality. As a relentless
activist, she spent her life defending the rights of the poor and
the marginalized. After the 1967 setback, she joined the popular
resistance with other volunteers.
