دولت أبيض هي من رائدات فن المسرح المصري. في عام ̀˺̂˺، لعبت دور الملكة جوكاستا في رواية سقوط أوديب.
في السينما شاركت في فيلم زينب وهو اول فيلم صامت في السينما المصرية والذي أنتج في عام ˹˼̂˺.
Dawlat Abyad was a pioneer theatrical actress. In 1917, at
the age of twenty-three, she played the role of Queen
Jocasta in Oedipus Fell. In the cinema, she played a part in
Zeinab, the first Egyptian silence movie produced in 1930.
